Hi, I am Sadie. I am the proud wife of an extremely talented Chiropractor who inspires me every day. The way that he can eliminate pain from people's lives just by using his hands leaves me in awe. I have him to thank for encouraging me to follow my dream and pursue my journey in meditation teaching. I am a qualified Meditation Teacher and am also an extremely avid yoga student, frequently practising mainly Hatha and Bikram yoga. I am starting my yoga teacher training in August and hope to be qualified by the end of the year. Meditation and yoga work in sequence with each other beautifully - like Yin and Yan. Such a huge part of yoga is the breath - I always think of yoga as a moving meditation - so learning to teach people how to meditate effectively made sense to me, to go alongside my yoga.
I have meditated from a very young age - lighting up incense in my lounge during the school summer holidays and listening to Enya, music from The Riverdance and Enigma and escaping to an unknown but beautiful place - I didn't even know what I was doing, I didn't know it even was a 'thing' I just knew that I loved the person I was during this time and felt better for it afterwards. Meditation is in my blood.
Now, I am new to this. I am learning every day. I am starting to use the gift which I believe I have, in healing others.
Come along to my course and awaken your senses - we will use different tools to smudge the space and prepare the space for our meditation. We will burn incense. Be cosy. Be happy. Relax. Laugh. Let me show you how to get to that place of "no desire", which my meditation teacher described it as.
